To build a new website for Marshall-Tufflex displaying their MT32 range of products and which they can easily edit, update and maintain.

Working in conjunction with Fusion Marketing and Frisk Design we integrated the design and html into our content management solution, providing intuitive and powerful administration to the entire website.

As well as being able to edit and add news, products and content pages, the client could also define the product navigation structure, adding new categories or sub-categories and the product menu would update automatically to accomodate changes. The same flexibility was provided in the main navigation across the top, with the ability to add new or remove sections and create the pages behind them, or create linked sub-pages – All using our intuitive content management system (CMS) assisted with in-line helpful guidance and instructions.

One special feature of the site is the modular approach to the panels shown on the right of most of the content pages. Currently four panels have been pre-created, with the scope for adding more in the future, including a project calculator and quoting basket. Defining which panels appear can be set on a per screen basis, and is an uncomplicated process of simply selecting the panels you want to appear and their order, giving the client all the flexibility required.

All the imagery on the site is automatically resized by the CMS, ensuring that whatever format or size is uploaded via the administration side, it will always be reformated for optimum performance and usability.

JQuery JavaScript:
- Form validation – checking on-the-fly that the essential fields have been entered and hold valid information, and indicating this to the user all this without refreshing the page
- Image slideshow – rotating imagery on the homepage and product pages – often mistaken for Flash
- Image zoom – displaying an enlarged image and allowing the user to navigate through other images on the page
- Expandable and contractable FAQ and sitemap
