To create an animation that can be used online to show how the Kittiwake particle sensor can be used to highlight wear rates on machinery that can cause irreparable damage if not detected at an early stage.
Solution »»
We designed and built the core animation shell in Adobe Flash and imported 3D rendered frames showing the gear wheels rotating. The 3D rendering was built based upon supplied photos and technical drawings. The particle animation was then added in Flash to show the flow of the fluid and levels of particles present. The three speeds where created by adjusting the animation frames and adding or removing more particles.
The animation runs for 60 seconds and the graphs changes according to the speed and wear ratio the user selects.
Multi-lingual annotations are shown by selecting the country flag.
The animation is now on the clients website.
